CHESS UNPLUGGED | Sometimes, I just like unwind by not thinking too hard, play a couple of quick casual unrated games, while listen to some slow jazz! 😌♟️🎵
Today, I played a few quick games while having a coffee before heading off the work. I hadn't really woken up yet so these were some pretty low accuracy games where I don't necessarily see the best tactic right away. Nonetheless, the final game was a silly and fun game of the Vienna Gambit, when I realised that my opponent was probably a novice! I sacrifice a queen to win their queen in a trappy way (because I can!), but then miss a [+M1] in the middle of the board two turns in a row. I don't miss it on the third turn - a cool pattern to keep an eye on!
