CHESS UNPLUGGED | Sometimes, I just like unwind by not thinking too hard, play a couple of quick casual unrated games, while listen to some slow jazz! 😌♟️🎵
After work this evening, I decided to chillax and play 15-20 minutes of rapid games while having a small glass of pastis. The first game was was breezy game of my favourite opening, the Vienna Gambit Accepted, of which I'm pleased to say I CRUSHED! 😏
By the second game, buoyed by the easy win from the first match, and starting to be affected by the pastis (😅), I make a couple of ridiculous blunders in the match - errors that I see immediately after making it! However, in casual games, this just adds to the fun as they fuel motivation to play better and try to turn things around! I manage to get back to equality in the endgame, and a blunder on the part of my opponent allows me to capture an unloseable position. Perhaps it's a bit petty, but I do delight in safely under-promoting to win. 😈 Good game, GG!
