How to go about this?
Select the game you want to analyze and download the raw PGN file (without any comments). Open any analysis board and paste the PGN there. Avoid the temptation to check the engine's report at this stage.
Begin by reviewing the game without any engine assistance. You may consult an opening explorer initially to identify better opening moves. At crucial points, add your own comments and variations, using chess notation liberally. Once you've gone through the entire game, note down your insights and save this version of the analysis.
Next, return to the start of the game and re-evaluate it, this time with the engine's assistance. Check each move and your comments against the engine's variations and evaluations. If there are discrepancies, update your analysis (keep your original comments and include the engine's perspective as well).
Conclude your analysis by summarizing what you did well and where you went wrong. Reflect on why you made those mistakes and consider strategies for avoiding them in future games.
