Yesterday I had a quick training session.

I solved 11 exercises from the  Woodpecker method book.

You can also study it on Chessable at https://www.chessable.com/the-woodpecker-method/course/10582/

In the first game my opponent played the Scandinavian defense, I got a small edge, but he defended well and we exchanged nearly everything to finish the game with a stalemate:

In the 2nd game My opponent played Qf6 against the scotch opening and I did not know how to play against it. I played actively and got an important pawn on c7 with white.

He got the edge, but did not use it well. I made a good pawn break with b4, then sacrificed the exchange to eliminate his strong passed pawn. Finally in a worse position he blundered a piece.

I missed this combination:

So yesterday I won 9 points.

Starting rating: 2423
