How To Checkmate with 8 Knights
It all started with a Minecraft game. My fellow chess streamer friend Anna-Maja and yours truly were playing Murder Mystery, where I was one of the remaining two innocents in the game. Having no gold to purchase a weapon to defend myself, I had to hide among my equine friends until I my location was discovered. Unfortunately, two murderers also killed my horsey friends in the process. Which made me go on an exploration to retrieve "The Lost Chapter" of Dvoretsky's Endgame manual to take revenge for my horsey friends.
I don't I think I will ever be able to recover from this! 🤣 R.I.P Horsey! It was so much fun @AMKazarian we should play Minecraft again!💗 pic.twitter.com/1u6CE8c5Rk

My close chess friend, 3-digit detective Chessnut and I were able to retrieve "The Lost Chapter" and indulged ourselves into learning the delicacies of playing multiple minor piece endgames such as 5, 6 and 7 knight or bishop endgames. One day, when I was live on Twitch, I decided to share this hidden knowledge with my viewers.
Watch me walk through the entire process here, you can also pay your respects in the comments section for the Minecraft horseys:
