How I roasted Chess.com's Game Reviews... Part 2

Chess.com's Game Review feature has been on site for a long time, with many updates and improvements made. Especially like the coach explanation for every move you(and your opponent) makes, but this is precisely what is disappointing about the game review feature. Not only does it gives you obvious comments, like, "Oh, you should have moved the knight off of the starting square" It makes you want to say, " NO SH** SHERLOCK"

So, today we will be looking at some hilarious comments that chess.com game reviews made, this blog is also to celebrate my new top blogger status. And since the last part of this blog got the most views, I decided to do a part 2. If you haven't read part 1 yet, you're welcome to do so.

P.S If you're a chess.com staff member, please don't ban me I am just an innocent child who is trying to give some feedback on your site. No offense intended

Obvious Comments No.1

This is obviously a very normal position, though, the talkative chess.com coach doesn't think so, and he feels he HAS to add a comment:

WHAT?!?! Like I already didn't know, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that developing the bishop is the point of white's last move. One Idea to make the chess.com game review feature better:

THE COACH SHOULD TALK LESS!

Wrong Comments No.1

This game arose from one of my Titled Tuesday games and the following position was reached: out of sheer luck I managed to achieve a winning position. And needless to say, after d2, I am just winning, I am sure anyone who has been playing chess for a bit can tell.

"So what's so special about this?"

My move is not special, however, chess.com's game review comments IS:

EXCUSE ME? WHAT TACTIC? WIN WHAT QUEEN?

Playing d2 is NOT a tactic, nor does it win a queen.

Wrong Comment No.2

After some adventures, the position above was reached, and again, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that white's pawns are unstoppable. It was precisely at this point the "big-mouth" chess.com decided to "chime in":

UMMMMMM, IF Rb6 is NOT the right idea, then WHAT IS? Black is losing in any case, but chess.com doesn't think so. Let me try to re-construct chess.com's train of thought:

So, Rb6 gets mated in 16 but other moves gets mated in 17, therefore Rb6 is a big blunder, and thus " Rb6 is not the right idea"............

Wrong Comment No.3

Once again, this is a VERY normal position (Also from Example 1), but for the 100th time, chess.com does NOT think so, and it feels like IT HAS TO SAY SOMETHING:

Ok, I am fine with the Fianchetto part, but excuse me, A POWERFUL DIAGONAL??? I certainly don't think a diagonal being blocked by 3 pawns is a powerful one....

Reflections

Computers cannot replace humans in some aspects, so when we are going over our games, I suggest we turn off the computer and think on our own. And hopefully, we will do better than the chess.com coach.
