My Chessable Course: Razor-Sharp Tactics: Women’s World Rapid & Blitz 2022
Hi everyone!
It's been a while since I've had the chance to write a blog post, even though there were so many good reasons to do so: the Olympiad in India, the Sunway Sitges Open Chess Tournament in Spain, and the World Championship in Kazakhstan! Maybe someday I'll write about my impressions retrospectively.
But today I would like to share my good news with you. I spent all my free time in February working on my first course, which was published on the Chessable website! My course is a collection of puzzles and tactical combinations from the Women's World Rapid and Blitz Championships 2022, in which I also participated.

I had the idea of creating a puzzle collection a long time ago, but thanks to Chessable, I decided to bring my idea to life. The deadlines were quite tight, as we planned to release the course on March 8, International Women's Day!
And so, work on the course began. It was my first experience, and I had to learn everything on the go. Perhaps now, when I am familiar with the process of creating courses, I would have done the work more efficiently and spent less time on it, but at the beginning of my work, I had to deal with some minor issues.
I would divide my work into several stages:
- Reviewing almost all the games from the Women's Championship and finding beautiful combinations (or missed opportunities!);
- Providing comments and analysis to the selected puzzles;
- Uploading puzzles to the Chessable platform;
- Beta Testing;
- Waiting for its publication 😊.
My course is structured in 3 chapters, each one increasing in difficulty:
- Easy Tactics;
- Intermediate Tactics;
- Advanced Tactics.
In this blog post, I am sharing with you several beautiful combinations from different chapters of my course.

I would like to express my gratitude to the Chessable team for their assistance in the course creation process, in particular: Geert Van der Velde for inspiring the course creation, Maaike Keetman for her guidance, and Christoph Kuberczyk for his patience and time in answering all my questions 😊.
But that's not all, a big thank you to my Beta testers: fiftyplus, IronStone, NoreiaK, and HanSchut (Chessable nicknames) for their time and help in testing the course!
Important note: my course is FREE!
I hope you enjoy it and please let me know what you think 😊
Thank you very much for reading my blog!
P.S. Oh, and by the way, don't forget that you can now easily navigate to the Chessable website from Chess.com (see the image below).
