I am retired. My older brother taught me chess when I was about 10. He beat me mercilessly for several years (he was 6 years older). When I got to college, I started playing tournaments. I improved quite abit and started beating him! My last OTB rating was 1622, August 1982. I still have the Chess Life magazine with a picture of Seirawan and Karpov on the cover.
