Hi my name is Barry and I'm from Texas. I love to make friends and chat. However I don't like to be played and I don't want anyone pretending to be my friend. Because betrayal is the ultimate hurt . When I make a friend I want to get to know them. A friendship is supposed to be genuine with no strings attached. Friendship is a process and it takes time. Don't friend me if you're going to block me. I think it's awesome getting to know people from other countries. I would like to make some friends from India and anyone from the hispanic culture. My best friends right now are @summertime33  @EveMO1 @Elizabeth_fox, @yogeshpoddar2, @imbr-ok-en @AkduKutta Helena aka @Shalla-21,@BananaPeelEater and @KeSetoKaiba, @Aurora88 i am looking forward to getting to know her better and I appreciate her giving me the opportunity of being her close friend. But my bestest friend in the whole wide world is Sue from Australia. She is a breath of fresh air and she melts my heart. I enjoy watching football and basketball. My favorite chess player is Hikaru Nakamura and my favorite female chess player is Andrea Botez, AnnaCrambling and akaNemsko. Speaking of chess some of the things I think are important about the chess community is that we treat others like we would want to be treated. Respect and be kind to one another. Be courteous and friendly. Think about what other people might be dealing with. I also like to help people whether it be with chess or struggles in life. I'm a nice guy and I have a big heart. I would like to help lower rated players with their chess game. Not sure if I would want to be a coach or not. Not looking to join any clubs right now. The only thing that would appeal to me is if it was a way to make friends. Then I would be down. Lastly I do have a pet peeve. That is leaving a conversation without saying goodbye, got to go or talk to you later. I don't think that is very difficult. PLEASE DON'T ASK ME TO JOIN YOUR CLUB! Take the time to get to know me a little better. I am more likely to join your club the more I know about you
