In chess there is no mercy and there is no mercilessness. It is a game with clear rules and with clear results. That is what I like.  Or like Emanual Lasker said: "On the chessboard lies and hypocrisy do not survive long. The creative combination bare the presumption of a lie; the merciless fact, culminating in a checkmate, contradicts the hypocrite."
