I learned to play chess from my grandfather when I was a little girl.  We played often, and I played scholastic chess, but it is only in the past five years or so that I have started tournament play.   I am interested in playing slow games and am happy to play unrated and all comers, as my main goal is improving my USCF rating.

I deeply regret to announce that I am resigning my position as a chess.com moderator, and will no longer play on the site.

I cannot in good conscience allow abusive spam directed personally at another member to occur on my watch,  and unfortunately my position on this is incompatible with chess.com moderation guidelines.
