GM Hikaru Nakamura is a blitz legend and probably the most feared bullet player in the world. Last year, he faced off with World Champion Magnus Carlsen in the Grandmaster Blitz Battle finals after impressive victories over GMs Pentala Harikrishna and Maxime Vachier-Lagrave. Here is Nakamura's full final against Carlsen.
GM Sergey Grigoriants was the surprise winner in the first Chess.com qualifier, but he has quickly established himself as a strong blitz player on Chess.com. Having won the first qualifier, he returned in the search for more glory and money to play in the other three qualifiers. In our third qualifier, he played Nakamura, and it was only a surprising act of mercy that let Nakamura off with a draw.
We hope you are as excited to watch these matches as we are! See you soon in the chess.com/tv chat
